DIMENSION Group Mission & Foci

The DIMENSION Group believes that mental health is public health, and that government and public-serving organizations have a responsibility to promote mental health and emotional well-being at the population level. We consistently partner with families, community-based organizations, schools and clinics to ensure that our projects have potential for real-world impact via systemic and policy change. Specifically, we are dedicated to understanding and advancing multiple dimensions of mental health in support of minoritized youth and parents/adults, and systems/providers that serve them. We have specialty foci on mental health within the context of the diaspora of Latinx families and the implementation of evidence-based practices (EBPs) in community and school settings. To do this, we conduct interdisciplinary research investigations that leverage methods from cultural psychology, implementation science, clinical psychology, and public health/policy.
